History
Established on September 13, 2022, and legally constituted in 2023, HAFT stands as a pivotal organization dedicated to advancing the field of forensic toxicology and its vital role in all aspects of public health and public safety.
In November 2024, HAFT elected its first Board of Directors during the annual General Assembly of its members.
Mission and Objectives
HAFT's core objectives are:
Promotion of Research
To actively encourage and facilitate cutting-edge research in the field of forensic toxicology, ensuring the application of the most current scientific standards.
Public Health Advancement
To significantly contribute to the promotion of Public Health through accurate toxicological analysis, reporting, interpretation and testimony.
Support for Justice and Law Enforcement
To play an integral part in the correct application of the Law and the administration of Justice by providing impartial, high-quality scientific evidence.
Professional Excellence
To foster the scientific and professional development of our members through education, training, and the establishment of high professional standards.
